Four years ago, we were asked by the Hispanic Heritage Council to develop a business plan for a new cultural center. Casimiro Rodriguez, president of the Hispanic Heritage Council, had a dream. He and his Board were driven to create a center that would chronical the long history and contributions of the Hispanic community in WNY. Yesterday, September 15, 2023, the community shared in the groundbreaking of a modern multipurpose facility. The Hispanic Heritage Arts & Cultural Institute will become the centerpiece of the WNY latino community. Watch WGRZ-TV’s news segment featuring event highlights.
