Nancy S. Martin

Biography

Nancy Martin is The Magellan Group’s Vice President of Marketing Services where she is responsible for the operational components of events as well as the specialty and merchandise aspects of the business.

To Nancy’s acclaim, she has managed the successful execution of numerous special events, including major openings, elegant cocktail parties and facility open houses. Her vast experience and attention to detail enable her to work effectively in any environment and create events that appeal to any group.

With regard to merchandising, Nancy is a master at helping clients find the right item to communicate their message. Her expertise extends to warehouse management, inventory and audit controls while her purchasing and negotiation skills have provided numerous benefits to her customers through a wide range of distribution channels. Nancy has overseen the development of multiple team logos for the Buffalo Bisons, Wichita Wranglers, Niagara Falls Rapids, Jamestown Jammers and Buffalo Blizzard, as well as numerous restaurants and properties. She also has directed merchandise sales and inventory management for a number of the Rich Entertainment Group sports teams, a responsibility that originated as an employee of the organization. Nancy was a member of the Licensing Committee of Minor League Baseball for over 20 years.

With Rich Entertainment Group, Nancy’s responsibility included creating clothing lines, merchandise and novelties for special events such as concerts, exhibition games, the Old Timers’ Games, Independence Day celebrations and game days, as well as working with licensed properties like Hanna-Barbera Productions. She also was a key team member in the development of the Rich Products Corporate Store, creating and supplying its Richwear line.

Nancy is Chairperson of the Buffalo Sabres alumni and their wives’ annual Wine Festival to benefit breast cancer research and treatment. Nancy is very active with Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Kevin Guest House.

A native of Western New York, she is a graduate of Chamberlain College in Boston, MA.
